Cal ID is EE5I920T
ECU ID: 7522168007

Appears to be the CVT as well :)

So this is from a dealer reflash, right?

I am not sure what that means. This is from my Son's 2010 Legacy AT that he just purchased used from a dealer. Trying to guess what a dealer reflash is.....a warranty fix? Please explain.

Thanks

Yes that's probably the case.

Got it...I'll bet this is asked ALL the time but....how long does it typically take to create defs and how will I know when they are available?

Well... it could take 4 hours or it could take 4 months or more. It depends on a number of things, such as how similar the ECU is to an existing definition. But, being that this is not a turbo vehicle and that there have been many changes to the ECU code over the last few years it could take a bit longer to create. What's your goal for your tuning exercise?

I am still in the noob stage of tuning. I have an 09 LGT that I run a stage 1 tune (upped boost a bit, eliminated the cl/ol delay, masssaged timing and fueling, etc) and I am waiting for my 12 LGT to continue my learning/fun. For my Son's Legacy I hoped to fix the cl/ol fueling and just poke around and see that a different ROM looks like. Nothing aggressive.

How will I know when the new def is ready?

Thanks

An update to this thread would let you know if there's been progress on it.

Would LearningView work without definitions?

Learning view is seperate software, it wont have the RAM allocations programmed yet aince LV has not had an update since your ROM was posted :)

I thought so. I could not get a reading from LV either. I don't see any process for requesting updates to LV, so I guess the only thing to do is wait.

Thanks...

You can still use the Logger to log various standard parameters to get a sense of the state of the engine. There are a number of Learning & Correction parameters that can show you AFR and Timing info.
Use the logger def from this thread.
