Anyone allready tried to read-out DTC on a diesel ECU ?

Are the diesel specific diesel DTC are allready implementated ?

Diesel-ECU got learing values for injectors, witch correcteds differences of the injector hardware.
These can be used for checking the injector hardware and the values can be read iva SSM-II.

Does it make sense to read read this parameters and display them like the knock-correction for pentrol engines ?

I my case, I will be very glad to be able to read out DTCs of the diesels in "clear-text", so this will be my fearture-request to learingVIEW :D

BR Jochen

You need to supply the ROM if you wish future support. Or a link to the ROM if it has already been submitted.

Hello, ive got an 08 STI and i cant get learning view to work, but although i'd like to get it working as it looks useful, what id love is if you could give me the command to reset my ECU, i have an elm box and i can send terminal commands but i havent got the SAE paper with all the OBDII commands, and it would be brilliant if you could tell me the command to send to reset the ecu?

thanks

By clicking the ecu reset (which fails as its not connected) and checking the log it looks like it attempts to send the command

80 10 F0 05 B8 00 00 60 40 DD

to the car, is this the reset command?

I tried it, there was a noise somewhere but the clocks didnt reset or anything, have i reset it?

thanks

This is a reset command.
You have to get the ecu response, turn ignition off and turn it on.
Some ecology related errors may not be erased.

Provide a copy of your stock ROM. You can read it off the ECU using EcuFlash.
