So I have this OBXT. Its an 05 with a 6/04 build date so super early. I have read the rom but can seem to find defs for it. Any help would be appreciated. Rom Attached.
USDM, 5mt, 2.5 turbo.
So some similar threads so just to clarify its basically a legacy wagon. But I still cant find the right definition. Tried everything.
Thanks in advance.

I did a little digging in the ROM...
ECU ID = 2F12795506 Cal ID = A2WC521S
I then opened the ROM with EcuFlash, and discovered a feature that I never knew about before...
At the "unknown ROM image" dialog box, choose "use wizard" Inherit from A2WC521N (I am guessing that yours is a small change from this ROM) Click 'next' at the ROM ID step (use the defaults of 2000, 8 ) Fill in the next screen as best you can. EcuFlash will now open the ROM.
I checked a half-dozen tables at random and they all appear correct.

Logging will not be as easy. Your quickest option would probably be to open logger.xml and do a search-and-replace, changing "2F12785506" (the A2WC521N ECU ID) with "2F12795506" (you ECU ID).
That will probably work, but I can't make any promises. You might find some parameters that just produce random numbers. If that happens please indicate which parameters. I am not promising anything, but I might be able to help. It gets a lot harder after this though, and it will take hours, not minutes, to get anything done beyond this.

You should be perfectly fine adopting the values from the later ROM and search & replace in the logger def. I compared the A2WC521S ROM against my A2WC522S ROM and all of 20 bytes are different and that is mostly the ECU ID and CAL ID. There are references to two data storage locations that are different but I don't believe they will affect editing or logging as I could not find a reference to them in the defs of the newer ROM.

Or just use A2WC522S. It's what I have in my ECU.
