Hi Guys,

Can I read the sensor data and the map with a Tactrix -cable from a Impreza GX 2003, non Turbo ?

Do the ECU-Def. contain this type of vehicle? ( i couldnt find this vehicle type in the ecu.-defs)

If not, how can I set up the necessary ECU-Def., or where can I get it ?

Thanks for your answer.

regards
gerhard

You need to read a copy of the ECU ROM and submit it for def creation.
I'm not sure if EcuFlash can read your ECU though, you'd have to try it and report back.

Hi!!
I have tried to load the map of my Impreza GX 2003. But this does´nt function. I have the OpenPort2.0 with the newest Flash and ECUFlash version.
See the screen below. I have connected the green connector. And I have one Connector with two wire, i have tried with a bridge and without. Is my Impreza a Drive-By-Wire model, how can i found this out?

And I have other problem. I cannot connect with RomRider and loggs the data.

Drive-by-cable = the throttle is controlled by a cable from the accelerator pedal to the manifold
Drive-by-wire = the throttle is controlled by a stepper motor at the manifold and the accelerator pedal has no cable.

Appears to be a Hitachi ECU

If the '02 or '04 modes don't work then probably not.
