I installed the ECUFlash defs (incl 32bitbase upgrade) and can open/read the AE5K500V file posted in the stock ROMs section. However today I pulled a copy of the stock ROM off of my 2012 STI and it says it is an unknown ROM image. I tried it twice to make sure everything was OK - no luck. Same problem in ECU editor...
Does this mean there was likely a change to the ROM for my build? Weirdly I can log the car with seemingly no issues in Romraider....
I attached the ROM in case anyone can look at it - hoping it was just a calibration change and I can still use this def.

Just the bad news I didn't want to get! Now I'm stuck patiently waiting to be able to fix the crappy stock tune  Thanks guys

I've done most of the major tables for this already (fueling, timing, AVCS, etc.) - should have something workable for you in the next day or two.

Probably just simple noob fixes but, I'm just starting to get into my 2012 but I'm having trouble getting the various software happy with all the definitions. RR's ecu_defs.xml is there but I still get an error when trying to open the stock rom. Learning View can't do anything but pull my IAM. And, I'm not sure I have the right logger def's because I'm not seeing an option to record FBKC (although FLKC and IAM are both recordable). I've been searching around for the files specifically for the AE5K611V ECU but haven't quite nailed it down. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
