Attached is a 2001MY USDM Legacy Outback Wagon, 4EAT, with VDC, ECU case is 22611AE98D.
The second file is the same, but WITHOUT VDC. 2001MY USDM Legacy Outback Wagon, 4EAT, NON-VDC, ECU case is 22611AE98D.
Both are EZ30D, non AVCS, 3.0L DOHC.
It is NOT equipped with a MAF. It does have a MAP sensor on the throttle body, an IAT sensor in the airbox near the throttle body and 2 AF sensors, one per bank. My guess is speed density.

Bump to revive this thread. I would also be interested in an H6 tune. I have an 04 H6 35th anniversary edition wagon, without vdc. I can retrieve the rom file and upload it, but i would assume the one that was previously uploaded should be ok. Im on board for the tune, and i can tell you a lot of 01-04 H6 owners would be interested from this site, subaruoutback.org. Thanks!

I'm interested in this as well. I've swapped an '01 EZ30d into my 2.5rs and I'm guessing some sort of tune could help. I posted some pics of the swap here if anyone's interested. I know there's another couple individuals who have done/are doing this swap as well.

Old thread, but I'm partially through defining an 02 Legacy Outback for a friend of mine who recently swapped an H6 into his RS. Once the defs are a bit more complete I will post them, and if I have time, start on this ROM as well. They should be fairly similar. I've got most of fueling and timing down, I'm still working out how the ecu calculates load as the speed density logic is really weird.

I'm crossing my fingers on this. I have a few things I want to change on my '03 VDC, but will not do them without being able to adjust fueling since this is a speed density car. I know my Link but RomRaider is new to me.

I am working on an '11 EZ36 project at the moment so might be able to invest some time in the older H6 motors to follow the engines development

I really appreciate you working on this. Let me know if a little compensation will move this project up the list...
