Hi everyone, ive been starting to log/read my cars ECU recently. I've managed to log succesfully however reading the ECU is a problem since the male green test connector is missing or broken.

Any ideas? How can I rewire it or make a switch in order to fix my problem.

Sometimes they are taped up higher in the loom behind the dash :) I have found them closer to the fuse box a few times

Like mentioned above- they may just be tucked up really far, but if they are broken and you can find the wires- just wire in a toggle switch.
That is what I've done since mine broke off after so many reflashes.

In the end it wasnt tucked up, the cable was cut. However I was able to find it and rewire the connector.

Now I have another similar problem. The "flash block" connector was also cut. It has only 2 wires and the other 2 are missing.
Heres a pic.

Is the "flash block connector" the LINE END CHECK CONNECTOR on the wiring diagram?

Cheers.

What a strange way to cut them. if you were to make a flash block connector, you would be missing one of each contacts. At least you know what colour wires to look for.

Solved by rewiring it. The missing cables went to the ECU.
Also made a single connector for the black plug and the test mode connectors so its a bit easier for reflashing.

Now go a step further and just put in a switch so that you don't have to fumble with wires at all. :)
