For some reason, lately my logger has been running really slowly (10-30 seconds lag). I've narrowed it down to whenever I log with my wideband connected.

The wideband seems to connect happily on COM4, but as soon as I tick the box to include it in the log/dashboard - everything grinds to a halt (and the CPU usage goes up to maybe 40%, from under 10%). I can still log, etc - but I have to ensure I wait for the data to catch before I press stop (otherwise if I've just done a 3rd gear pull or something, the log file has data from prior to the 3rd gear pull).

I can't think of anything that has changed on my machine to cause this. I've since tried updating to RC3 which made no difference...

Any ideas?

What ECU protocol are you using? WBO2 reading happens at a much faster rate than the ECU.

Figured it out... I've got my innovate gauge mounted in a facia inside the glovebox, with the serial to usb cable hidden behind.

I pulled it all out to inspect and looks like the little threaded fasteners on the serial male->female connector had come loose and vibrated apart just a little. Must have been enough to slow down the data (I guess there is some form of error correction with the serial to USB cable drivers perhaps).

Tightened it all down and tested, and works like a charm again.
