Hello,
Today I tried to open an 06 Impreza 2.5i rom in romraider and was unsucessful. I've got updated definitions and the program works fine for my other car. I'm sure there is something I'm overlooking.
Appreciate any input.
Thanks!

What's the CAL or ECU ID?

Hopefully this gets seen as the thread is a bit old. But I was having this exact issue trying to help a friend out today. It doesn't seem there is an option for an 06 2.5i impreza in the definitions. My ecuflash program would get as far as identifying the ecu code and give up using the 05sti definition. Got closer using the 05sti definition then it did trying to use 07+ subaru can definition. The ecu ID was 4D12088006. I've downloaded the newest definitions for Ecuflash and Romraider. Ecu doesn't get recognized on romraider logger but I can still log. Wanted to just pull the rom off of the ecu and disable a couple codes and flash it back on but was unable to.
