Per Gear Max Requested Torque for 08+ WRX, 09+ FXT

Good to see this was found for the 08 Legacy GT Spec B - but how about an 07 Legacy GT Spec B?

I've got a customer that would love for me to be able to setup per gear WGDC control on his map.

The ROM is A2UG000L

Had a look - you're in luck - the addresses are identical for the two roms - you can use the same definitions posted.

Also, I would encourage anyone looking at this code to post definitions for the STi's as well, despite the short table.

By creating an ecuflash bloblist, you may re-write the lookup table to a free memory address. At that point you may be able to fill the table with proper values provided ECUFlash doesn't barf because the table is loaded with 0xFF.

In the case that it does barf, another bloblist could populate the table with a good values.

This is somewhat risky, as a user who forgets to populate the table may end up with a brick/non-running car depending on how the ecu handles corrupted table data. A patch to rewrite the LUT and populate the new table would be relatively simple, but more time consuming.

MY11 AUDM WRX with Per Gear WGDC AND per gear Boost Control setup on stock DBW. 340 is maximum for 3rd gear onwards, 1st gear uses 350RT boost target but also WGDC RT column. 345RT is 2nd gear etc. At low rpm, the 1st/2nd gear values has lower RT maximum than 3rd/4th/5th since typically they run less boost and more vacuum in 1st/2nd gear so target a low Target Boost value at the same time.

STIs have a different problem since the table is much smaller and does not allow for a detailed adjustment. The RPM resolution is good but we only get 2 rows for the gears, 1st and 6th. The ECU interpolates between the cells. With careful crafting of the numbers, you can create a slope that gets you close to the max RT settings that you'd want. I am using this table for limiting overboosting in high gears by cutting the max RT in 4-6th gears. It does the job but it leaves me wishing for better gear resolution.
