Here is my new Stage 2 ROM which is a little conservative, haven't hooked my wideband up yet so can't do any serious tuning until then.

I know your stage 1 maps you said worked with the usdm 08s so I'm assuming this one also will? And I was wondering how this stage 2 would do with 91 oct gas

I'm also in Melbourne.

I'm wondering, if anybody could comment on how suitable these MY08 maps would serve as a base for tuning the MY11.

I'll make a comparison between the stock my08 vs my11 maps over the next day or two to see whats changed....

MY11 has the VF52 turbo rather than the 08 TD04 so there is some major differences in airflow etc.

I suggest using an 08 map with caution

yeah, was aware of the bigger turbo... the minute i started to compare tables I realised the two cars are tuned very differently out of the factory... for example, the initial WGDC tables are completely different... they don't even appear to follow a similar "trend"...

anyone have any tuned base-maps to look at for the MY11 ADM (98ron) ? (i'm a beginner here, trying to get as much stuff together in my head about the relational interaction between all of the tables)

have you done any further mods to your stage 2 map?
My friend has a 2008 MY08 hatch... only mod is a full x-force TBE system.
He was running your stage 1 with a cat back and is now planning to use your stage 2 for the TBE... just wondering if you have further developed it and if it is safe to use?

Have been busy at work so haven't been on here or working on car till now.

I'll post my new Stage 2 rom which is MUCH better than the current one posted here.

If you want me to customise it to run on a MY11 with a TBE send me your rom and i'll make the changes and post it on here, i have a friend running a revised version of my rom on his MY11 and it is very quick.

Once i get my laptop back i'll post my new ROM, i have been running it for 2 months now so its safe to use.

I have tested this for over 1month now and no probs, even had a few full tilt runs for about 5 minutes at a time and no fine learning knock. There are still gains to be made as i have the tune a little rich, just monitor with you're wideband and start to add a little timing here and there and lean it out a bit and you will get more power.

Personaly i'm comfortable with the way this is and i know its safe so i'm just going to leave it until i put a new intercooler on and then should see a bit of power gain. hopefully!

Guys can you help us out with this rom:

WB02 show accurate afr's and wondeirng if anyway to get more power up high in rev range, car has only got a CAI and 3"TBE for engine mods. The power seems to stop increasing at about 5100-5200 Rpm, might be the TD04 showing its weakness?

More Edits and fuel and timing trims to negate occasional knock at low load/rpm i was getting.

yeah i left those vaules are there on purpose becasue i change gears at 6400rpm and wanted the car to stop boosting after 6400Rpm. (which i have since changed in my new rom and put back the rev limiter to the stock 6700rpm)

I saw that you added some extra target boost on the rom you uploaded, i have played around with trying to get the car to boost higher up in the high rpm range, and on my car at least it isn't making more power. it also doesn't hit the target boost as well up that high. You could add more WGDC maybe to try and get there but i don't think its going to add power up in the high rpm range becasue the td04 is out if its range and working its tits off.

I'll give your revision a try when i'm home.

I'm at work now but i have another new rom at home as well, i'll upload when i have the chance. i have lowered boost again a little in the mid range and added more timing and leaned it out a bit which seems to have increased power a little up high.

Maybe its only my car that is having trouble keeping boost in the high rpms, maybe a leak or something somewhere?

Can someone with a 2008 run my rom and do some 3rd gear pulls and log WGDC %, manifold pressure, throttle plate posistion, engine speed and vechicle speed. i'll do the same so we can compare boost levels. I have a feeling at higher boost i have a leak of somekind from my intercooler, BOV(100% recirc at the moment) or some piping somewhere maybe, or maybe just the weather at the moment? but i could have swore i was able to get higher boost before with the same vaules in WGDC and AVCS and turbo dynamics and etc and same weather.

Here is a boost curve with the 16.7psi rom (it doesn't go higher no matter what target boost or WGDC's i set)
