You should expand the rough and fine learning areas beyond load 2.8.

Yea, its changed now. I put that tune on a different rom because I also have cobb st and didnt want to post the rom that had the street tuner code on it. Just over looked those tables. Its fixed now. As for the idle, I have a loud exhaust and it was more personal preference than anything.

Not saying you're wrong, but personally I still have it taper slightly on a DD pump gas tune. Just down to 18.5 or so at 7000.

Sorry for the thread jack, OP. cquirki wrote: ah. what about a 16g on a built 2.5 with built heads and 272 cams? what would i need to taper down to.. i rev to 7500 ish when i am WOT. planning for 18 psi but not sure about the curve topic1926.htmlDo the math against your compressor map and you'll get close.

Hijack is ok as you are prob on here way more than I am. actually on the boost it says max 20 on targets table but it only does around 19.5 down to 18.5 at red. with minimal boost error. I always would rather have + boost error than - boost error. I have tuned cars with cams and it depends on the individual car as to what a/f it wanted to idle best. sounds like you need to get some hands on help from somebody that knows more about tuning so you dont make any bad mistakes while you are learning on this car. sounds like you changed to many things at once and then wanted to learn. I would get hands on help if I where you.

I have been looking at this rom in detail and have some questions.
Why are the various tables with load as an axis not scaled out to the same max load value? For example, the fueling table goes to 3.80, the base timing table goes to 3.20, and the timing advance table goes to 5.00.
Why wouldn't the tables have somewhat similar max values for the right hand column? What max load values do you see when you log?

3.8 was for headroom in the fuel map. The timing map is 3.2 cause that's just over my max load that I see and that's also the max base that I want at any load even if something happened and load went over 3.2. The 5 in the advance is just for safety. That last column in the advance is an extra column anyhow.

I just installed my green, can you post a 3rd or 4th gear pull with timing and load? Also, I've seen others mention that a conservative (DD?) map would have peak torque timing at 8* and redline at 14*. You're obviously far outside that range. What do you consider aggressive timing on pump 93 octane gas? FWIW I'm hitting 20psi tapering to about 18.5 at redline with 11.0:1 AFRs. Thanks for posting your map!

8 deg at peak load is too low IMO (as is 14 at redline)
On my FP Green, it was around 11 at peak torque at 18 at redline (still on a conservative map)
