Hello, Thanks for that. I did all that with the wideband with no luck, and am trying out your road dyno at moment, looks great. My Tech wideband is this model 2J9 http://wbo2.com/2j/default.htmI think it is wrong version for what you have done. All i got on logs for afr was 14.9 right across the scale. Look I know your busy and really dont want to bother you with this so I will leave it up to you. 1 Question with the road dyno, and yes I have read the all the forums on it. 2000 rpm in 3rd gear and full throttle and my car just sits there waiting till it builds boost at around 3000rpms before it takes off. Would it be better to do it in 2nd gear so when you full throttle it the car takes of with no delay. Wouldnt any delay in this test calculate as lost HP and Torque. Thanks and I just want to say that its great that romraider is on the move again with people like you working sohard on it. Bye

I'll see what I can do with the plugin now to accommodate the 1.5 frame format. If you are willing, I'll send you a test build to use so that it can provide me a bit more info such that I can try and accommodate both format's within the same plugin.
The road dyno should not care about gear, you can try it any gear, just pre-set that gear on the control panel first. All it looks for is throttle > 98% and RPM.

Hello Again,
Is it possible to make the Tech Edge read out in logger as AFR instead of Lambda. It would be a lot easier to compare to fuel tables as they are in AFR.
Greg.

You should already be able to select which unit is displayed by choosing the unit option for the parameter being logged in the RR logger (to the right of the parameter name).

Hello,
The tech edge wideband is not on the parameters list its only on the external sensors list and on that list Lambda is the only option. It could be something im doing or just the fact that this model wideband isnt set up with the right plugin yet for romraider logger. Thats why I was asking dschultz as he said he is going to have a go at making the plugin for it. Thanks for your advice, I have read a lot of your posts in my mission of learning to tune which I am now addicted to.
Bye.

I have not added a units option at the moment as I have no sample data to work with, so the easiest is to work with the raw data, Lambda at the moment. If you need AFR just multiple the Lambda column by 14.7 in your favourite spreadsheet program.
You got my PM didn't you?

I don't think you have read the PM yet as it is still showing unread by you.

Hi guys, I'm searching for a way to connect TE controller with RomRaider and it doesn't seem to work. To be honest I'm also not sure on what does ''format 2.0 stand for? I own a 2J2 controller and have tried latest RR 0.5.4 RC1 and no luck ... are there any settings needed to be done in TE controller software?

You should have a data cable with an RS-232 connector on it. http://wbo2.com/2j/default.htm#rs232This connects to the display or laptop from what the web site states. It should send data in format 2.0 as it is a recent design. If your laptop does not have a RS-232 (COM port) then you need to buy a USB<->Serial adapter. http://wbo2.com/hw/usb232.htm

Hi @dschulz, I tried once again and now it WORKS!! I noticed sometimes it's better to restart the program in case of connection problem...
The new thing that bothers me is the delay of 5-10sec from reading data via OBD socket, which I noticed at rpm figures (probably also all other sensor values). I'm using KKL blue cable on USB , are there any specific settings for simulated COM port for this cable, or are there some settings in the romraider logger which I missed?
PS: the car is Impreza 2,0T '99, if it matters...
Thank you,

Have you tried un-selecting "Fast Poll" in the Logger settings menu?
