OFF LINE FOR A WHILE, COMPUTER CRASHED. LAST TIME WE TALKED YOU MENTION COLDER PLUGS,FOR WHAT REASON. USING YOUR MAP WITH LOTS TIMING F** THING PULLS HARD. THE ONLY THING ARE MY AFRS. WITH OUT BEING IN BOOST 14.7 WITCH I THINK IS PERFECT. HOWEVER WITH BOOST 5#-11.5,10#11,15#-10.8 AND AT 19# ONLY 10.5 WHAT PAREMETERS SHOULD I PLAY WITH,AND HOW MUCH SHOULD I CHANGE TO START.THANKS IN ADVANCED

Is it pulling timing much? Those AFR's don't sound too far off. I mentioned colder plugs because at these increased power levels they can help provide a bit of preignition / knock margin.

If any of you are seeing any stumbles when jamming on the throttle lifting and jamming again (popping and poor response), i think i may have found a solution.

Of course tip in and injector latency need to be close to correct.

Try adjusting these tables in your tip in section, it made a night/day difference in my throttle response.

Tip in disable applied counter threshold : 10
Tip in disable throttle cumulative threshold: 40.1

My tip in for 750cc DW:

Min tip in activation throttle above .384

These values borrowed from fastbluenfo's SD rom, thought it was interesting b/c of the first value in the throttle angle change is negative, so far, changing these values has made my throttle much more responsive. Just thought i'd share......

throttle angle change:
-0.146188

wasp642

Were you having a mild leanish stumble on tip in?

kind of, but not as much as it was more of a throttle response issue with people running modded injectors. This cleared it up for me.

Just FYI, i tried tinywrex's LC patch with a little less timing than your latest map, it pulled too much timing in LC mode, my IAM dropped to 6. So i guess i have to tune that area of the table better for fueling and timing. I'll keep ya updated.

You were able to add the tinywrex patch?? I am having no luck. I had it on my last rom but I keep getting an error that says:
source file is corrupt at byte 0x2d2d0 <0xff expected, 0xb found>

Its in the same directory and is 192k and using the A4SGE01C Patcher so it should work.

Well I just downloaded the map again and just patched it. It worked now just make changes. Long way around but oh well.

Hello everyone I just joined the forum due to the fact that a few of us are finishing up a 02 WRX in the next week or two.

The car has the following:
-18G Turbo
-Perrin FM
-STI modded injectors
-Cold Air Intake
-Equal Length Header
-Up Pipe and Down Pipe
-No Cats

Its going to be on Cali 91, and we are gonna add snow system sometime soon.

The base ROM on there will work for now just have to scale the injectors from STI stock to the modded ones.

I am very impressed with this program and am excited to use!

Hey Wasp642 will your ROM work as a good base?

unfortunately, probably not. My rom is very tweaked to say the least. From injectorrs, to blow through MAF, hybrid EBC/MBC boost control, IAT compensations, other random stuff, not good to start with.

I myself am still looking for someone to provide a good 18G rom for me to look at, i'm curious what timing others are running on an 18G.

hey guys,

new here but have been using this tune for a bit now. it is running good. I just have a spot in the rpm range that likes to lean out. right about 3600 to 4200 it likes to drop lean for a second then gets right back where it needs to be in the afr. scotty can you tell me what kind of log you want me to do and maybe take a look at it? thanks
