-Stock intake(drop in should be ok) -aftermarket CBE is ok -93 octane ONLY -map is tuned near sea level -I would NOT consider this a 'conservative' BASE MAP! Tables modified from stock:-Target Boost A,B -Boost Limit/Fuel Cut -Initial & Max WGD% Tables -Primary OL Fuel(rev1: leaned out topend to 11.33 from 11.20) -CL/OL Delay (zeroed) -Base & Advance Timing -Timing Comp A(Intake Temp) -All Feedback/Fine Correction Load & RPM tables -Rev limit raised to 7100 -zeroed out per cylinder timing compensation(added w/ rev1) Map is tuned on NON-E10 93octane, however fueling is still a bit conservative for 93. Map is consistently logging mid-to-high 240g/sec w/ Magnaflow CBE(it was doing low-to-mid 230g/sec on the stock CBE). This is my own personal map from my own car, only mods are Magnaflow CBE, Hallman PRO & this map. graphed log w/ stock CBE: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=59773&d=1226630097graphed log w/ Magnaflow CBE: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=59990&d=1227019693actual log file from above^: http://www.box.net/shared/ixkkbmrqvmLearning View from running this map for last 175 miles or so doing logs, dyno pulls, daily driving, etc, NO ECU RESET during that time: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=60128&d=1227321700Dyno Graphs:Runs: My STG1 map w/ Magnaflow CBE: same log as above^ on Airboy's sheet: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=59976&d=1226979882Runs: My STG1 map w/ Magnaflow CBE vs. just my STG1 map(13whp/18wtq gain over stock CBE w/ STG1 map): Runs: My STG1 map w/ Magnaflow CBE vs. 100% stock/100% stock mapping(34whp/46wtq over stock CBE/stock mapping): Please use at your own risk, if you have any questions/concerns/comments PLEASE let me know. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you choose to use this map PLEASE do lots of logging to check the condition of your car running this map. EVERY car is different, even if the mods, fuel, etc are the same.

tested with P&P&C manifolds, Crucial UP, DP and RP. Still at 17psi peak, same exact map posted here, no changes to the map. STG2+ Mods w/ STG1 Map w/ Magnaflow CBE vs. STG1 Map w/ Magnaflow CBE(+17whp/+11wtq peak, although there's ~25whp/~20wtq gain at redline). STG2 Mods w/ same STG1 Map vs. Stock(+51whp/+57wtq max). Flowed nearly 250g/sec, learning kc correction I believe from an earlier overboost, had to turn the Hallman down a touch after bolting on the UP, DP, etc: sadly, my stock VF40 let go less than 25 miles after the dyno pull.

Installed VF52(2009 WRX Turbo), no other changes, however boost is just under 16psi during these runs: two runs opposite directions on the same road, showing levelness of the road & consistency of tune. VF52(<16psi peak) vs VF40(<17psi peak): VF52 vs. OEM 100% Compiled data, yes I picked up ~30whp just bolting this turbo on & ~5wtq peak BUT +25wtq near redline: Again I can't wait to push +18psi.

Logs of the 2 runs: http://www.box.net/shared/k6902lnjcihttp://www.box.net/shared/hg50qpli46VF52 still using the same STG1 map I have posted tuned @ 19psi peak: VF52 @19psi vs. 100% oem stock: Using Airboy's sheet, 50-80mph =3.08 60-80mph = 2.10 Its amazing what a little boost will do...

Nice to see your logs. I compared (in detail) your timing vs my timing. I am running considerably less timing (w/ a bit more airflow) but on 91 + alky. I cannot get anywhere close to the timing you are running w/o hints of knock. I am pushing a legit 30 g/s more air, at 11.7:1 AFR and cannot get much over 330 whp. On my pump tune (obviously my 44 lb turbo is going to be a bit more efficient at 280 g/s then yours) I push about 280 g/s, and make about 270 whp. That is at 11:1 AFR, I can't push much more then about .5 degree more timing, or else I get knock. I wish I had your guys gas.

Most of the 93 octane around here contains no ethanol, so that definitely helps, however I still only run BP/Amoco or Sunoco brand gas. I've been told that most of my timing maps have more of a 100octane tune curve to them than a standard pump gas tune. As you can tell from the logs, the timing is pretty much maxed out on 93pump, I still can lean it out just a bit & raise the boost another psi or 2 max with the stock injectors. The second log actually got a hint of Temperature Comp induced KC at the very very topend so I went ahead and zeroed out the bottom end of the TempCompTiming table on the next revision I post up. Once I get larger injectors & a Walbro & install the larger TMIC I will be planning on pushing 22-23psi in midrange with this setup. I'm going to try to get ~335whp/365wtq out of the setup, its a bit optimistic BUT so I've hit or exceeded all the goals I've had for the car thus far. Jeremy

I flashed this map yesterday and I need to start logging. Anyone else using this? The only mod I have is the intake silencer delete.

I have also flashed this map to my car. The car pulls much harder then any other map i've tried but it seems to knock pretty hard low rpm. I haven't had it knock at all WOT but if its set in cruise and gets between 2-2.6k it knocks hard.
What should I do to fix that? This map makes the car seem much faster then the other stage 1 map on here.

Heres a learning view from the tune. I actually had -4.22 where -.70 is. The A/F looked alot like that but alot higher -'s.
I am really new to tuning subies so I'm not sure where the timing needs to be removed. It looks like it may be in the WOT range because the learning view range is so large. From my logs (i didnt have logs when it knocked that bad), it only was less then 8 timing around low throttle though.
Thanks alot for your help
