Hi this is my first log since i received my tactrix cable.

This car is a JDM Spec C with an ECUTek 'MegaRom' dual-map tune.

Full Decat exhaust system
Panel filter
Walbro 255l/hr
3 Port BCS
Uprated actuator
Map 1 - Shell V-Power 99RON
Map 2 - Shell V-Power + 3ml/ltr NF Octane Booster

One question, why would my IDC be higher on my low boost setting? :?:

I'm not too worried about the knock on the high boost setting, I think I just need to add a wee bit more octane booster. One thing that puzzles me is the target boost is always high, no matter what throttle/rpm cell I am in, I don't know if this is due to Romraider having difficulties interfacing with the Megarom tables?

IIRC, the Spec C maps seem to have high target boost and high wastegate duty from about 25% throttle up. I'm not sure why. It seems this would make part throttle driving more difficult. I personally prefer a more progressive boost map. Your turbo dynamics integral is going to max out at part throttle. I would think this could also cause boost spike if you held part throttle for a few moments (integral winds up), then pegged the throttle. I've (edit) not tuned a true full JDM Spec C, though.

If your low boost map has a higher IDC I guess it would be running far richer if measured with a wideband. This is probably due to the gasoline difference. The extra few PSI won't cause the increase in airflow you might first expect since it also adds more heat when you move out of the cherry efficiency zone on the turbo the outer edge of efficiency to get the most out of the car.

Thanks for the reply. TBH, part throttle driving in the Spec C is amazing, I've not noticed any boost spikes either, but I'll re-log and have a look.
