So will 11.50-1 keep me in the safe zone? What amount of timing is safe with 17.5lbs at peak torque? Is 16*A Safe?

Lean = High EGT's... I don't have an egt gauge, and I don't plan on burning a hole in the top of my piston or burning an exhaust valve because of heat. But at 12.0-1 AFR I do not knock, even with 16* Total Timing at peak torque and a load value of 2.44 g/rev... on stock turbo and intercooler.... According to the spreadsheet with everything scaled (scaled against me, 10 correction and 0 weight added) it produced 261ft-tq at 3850rpms.. Thats pretty damn good considering I was around 240fttq with the exact settings...

have you modified your knock correction RPM and load ranges to suit this new setup? The stock map is very deaf in the upper RPM ranges and at load values above 2.1. You might "widen" your ranges and see if you pick up new knock.

If I were to try those settings on our 91 octane fuel, I'd get severe knock. Probably IAM dropping like a rock. I have to run 13-14 degrees timing at peak torque and AFR of no richer than 11:1. I have the best luck running 91 octane in the mid 10s at redline.

I run 93.. I haven't dropped IAM in quite a while, usually IAM drop is at lower rpms... like 2800ish at .6 load but I have that solved with a 1/2* of timing added...

Went and played today. Dropped my OL fueling in higher loads about .5. Only dropped my afr by .2. If you look at Airboys spreadsheet it follows very closely to the target until boost and raises sharply to 11.5-1 and holds pretty steady. I changed my knock load values in rough and fine correction to pickup knock all the way to 2.35 load, never even had any correction in any of them. I finally got my boost dialed in the wgdc-iat needs a ton of compensation to get things to smooth out. But I'm still confused by why when I drop my OL table by .5 it only drops afr's by .2. It almost seems like the injectors are running static once I'm in boost (Fuel Pressure not following boost), but maybe thats not right. I tested some things, took it over 84mph (goes into OL after 84mph) and kept out of boost and my afrs matched my OL table almost dead on...... What gives....

IJDC at peak torque is around 71% and maxing at 92-93% so I'm not out of injector quite yet...

I'm thinking about dropping my gss-342 back in and see what it does to my fueling.

Last note, I compared everything to Innovate Logger and at idle front o2 said 14.7 (stayed fairly solid) but Innovate logger showed 13.8 afr....
5th gear roll on I drop way into the 10's as I go into boost.
