I know a few people liked my map from when I had the stock turbo. This is my small 16G map. I ran 12.73 @ 110 with this so it's making good power, probably around 320-330 at the wheels. It can probably go 12.5 on a clean pass, it spins the tires pretty often. In this map fbkc is off above 3000 rpm because my car has horrible shift knock from mechanical noise on hard shifts. I tuned it with fbkc active to 7000 rpm and had no knock on easy shifts or 3rd or 4th pulls. Please don't just go flashing this to your car, look it over and see if it would work for you and make changes specific to your car. My tuning ideas might be different than yours. Enjoy at your own risk! :)

So why did you effectively disable it for this "public" version?

I'm curious. Your load sites for fuel and timing only go up to 2.40/2.42. What are your actual peak loads? With 1.7 bar of boost you should be well over 3.0 at peak torque and at peak power your 550 cc injectors would be maxed out. I would really be interested to see a log posted from this map to see how the ECU is applying timing and fuel above your mapped loads.

I have my own small 16G map I'm working on but it's tuned for 650 cc injectors and 1.5 bar boost on an EWG. Not sure I will run the turbo so I would like to see a sample of performance from others.

I just posted this as a reference for people. In no way should you just use this on another car as is. Look it over see how I do things use what you want and makes necessary changes for your own car.

I have a different strategy on this than some. I like to use more columns at lower loads for better resolution and better driveabilty. Then in the higher loads it just runs the same timing off the highest column.

On a cold night it can pull around 2.7 g/rev.

The injectors run a max of high 80's duty cycle. I tune for 11:1 which gives you a lot more headroom in IDC.

I have some random logs from when I was tuning for this on my laptop, I'll try to get them posted. But the proof is in the performance at the track, we don't race logs and dynos. :)

Understood about racing and logs, but the logs do tell us what the motor and ECU are doing and are very useful in this forum.

The 2.7 load seems low for the boost level (25 psi). I routinely hit 2.75-2.8 g/rev with my TD04-15T on 22psi and the same size injectors. My max IDC's are 80% at 7,000 rpm and 10.7-10.9 AFR measured. Except for the TGV deletes and headers your mods are the same as mine so I would expect to see a huge jump from my 31lb/min turbo to your 39lb/min 16G.

Guys running VF39 on EJ205's see 3.2's and the VF39 is 1.7lb/min smaller than the small 16G and less efficient. You should be hitting way higher g/rev with that 16G IMO. I would be interested to know what kind of airflow and boost you are seeing.

If you are actually hitting your target boost anywhere above 4,500 rpm your IDC's are waaay above 80% at 11:1 AFR. 11:1 is not what I would call lean. At your target boost and typical VE for an EJ205 at 5,500 rpm your 550's would be maxed out.

I know I'm probably running a conservative tune on my smaller turbo in terms of fuel but I would like to get some details about how your motor is dealing with 25 psi. A third gear pull log would be very helpful to see.

It's 22 psi, not 25. There is no target boost. It's a manual boost controller set at 22 psi. I don't like messing with boost control solenoids. It takes too much time to get right. MBC is set it and forget it.

2.7 g/rev with this turbo is about right to me. I was getting about 2.2 with the stock td04 and it ran a 13.2 @102 with that turbo. So in comparison it seems fine. The IDC really is high 80's and sti pinks are plenty of injector for a 16G it won't max them out at all.

I just wanted to share my work, not get into an internet battle, so I'm just going to let this one go, your way of thinking is different and that's fine. I'll post a log when I can.

i have just put a 16g on mine, with modded injectors, and i have somoene helping me tune it, but its pushing 60% at 15-16 psi, it is a lil rich though, becuase i wont have my wideband in untill this weekend, but i have seen 565 pinks maxed out on a vf39, which i know isnt as powerfull as my 16g, i would like to see some logs and soobavator's map, for comparison to mine to see what i can change, and just for overall comparison
