I reverted to the last release -- 0.5.0b -- and was able to connect just fine. Should I re-install RC3 and attempt to capture the log files?

Try RC4, it now opens with Bluetooth enabled and sees my Com7+Com14 virtual serial ports.

so just skimming this thread it seems like most people with vista are getting the sw to run now...I am thinking about pulling the trigger and getting the 2.0 system....but am worried that it won't work. Bill does the current release have most things fixed? It looks like i should remove and reinstall rr and ecuflash as well as all def. ... is that what seems to be working for folks?
Thanks

It seems the issues with Vista are solved by running the RR test release installer as admin (right-click) and possibly the RR executable as admin as well. Some other have had problems with bluetooth adaptors. All of this is outlined in this thread.
