true sorry i dont get over here as much as id like, allthough i think this is the best forum on the www.

well for a while i flashed masters map for the07 2.5i. i had no idea what i was doing and was all about putting an intake on my car. ive allways loved intakes since we used to just cut off stock air boxes back in the day and just run k and n panels. that was obd1 though so lol. im learning though. but in the mean time i felt it nessasary to flash masters map even though it wasnt for my car.

it felt really good i assume it was the changes he made to the timing maps that made the car feel great.

i figured out though how to rescale the maf using rr . so i flashed back my stock tune, rescaled the low end of the maf with the tool and now that the car isnt running rich because of an unscaled maf . i can start to tinker. first things first will be to get a wideband so i can rescale the top end of the maf.

i spent the summer dialing in my suspension and would put it up against pretty much anyones street legal daily. i have no internal engine work done only pulleys and the intake with spacers on both ends of the manifold . im working on a little problem with my egr pipe and then putting on a full 2.25 '' headers back. so i plan to start messing around now using masters map as a semi quazi guide.

his map definatly felt better than my stock map. esspecially in the midrange where it just seemed to explode with torque. i have no dyno pulls or anything like that sorry . but i wanted to try and answer your question. i do have a comparison of his map vs he stock map he tuned for . it was impressive. iirc something like 25hp with an intake and exausht. and uel headers at that.

here is a quote from master (rip) himself

"Hard to say, just fixing the AFR made the biggest change in torque, the rest was chased with timing. Going to a higher octane would allow a more optimal AFR and you would be able to push timing a bit more too. If the post above mine is correct (I see its a dynojet...) then this car picked up 23 hp at the crank after mods and tune. Thats 196hp, higher octane may push that over 200.

The owner of this car was talking about putting in cams, looking at how the AVLS system increased the torque in steps I can see that a more aggressive cam profile would be beneficial. If we get access to the AVLS system you could make cams with a stock lower profile for great engine idle and driving, and then the AVLS profile for all out power.

It'll be interesting to see what happens now that the tools are in place to tune for mods "
