I think it would be nice/useful to have a text box to enter a simple descriptive prefix that is added to the name of the log file. For example, if I put "Rev5 3rd part throttle" in the text box, the log file will be named Rev5 3rd part throttle_[time stamp].csv

I often collect a bunch of logs and then when I go to rename them I forget what type of log it is if I have more than 4 files

All of my maps have file names like "v008 Injectors Scaled To 860.hex" so I was thinking it would be cool to have logs saved with just the first word of the ROM file name so I can match them up later.

Maybe not everyone wants to adopt the version-first file naming conventions, but on the other hand, if RomRaider had a feature like that, how many people would make use of it?

Or go a step further and give RR a notion of a root 'project directory' containing a subdirectory for each ROM and the associated logs. Users would be encouraged to create a project directory for each car. Basically, upgrade RR into an IDE for tuning (the software people in the house will know what I mean). That would not be a small undertaking but it would be pretty cool. :)
