I've been running into a problem when trying to flash roms onto my ecu. I was able to read my stock ROM from my ecu, but I can't open the tuned ROM using EcuFlash, when I try to "Open ROM" and select the hex file, i get an error message that says: "there was an error reading this ROM file. see the message log for details."
The message log in EcuFlash says

[16:48:29.489] A4SDA01Q (294 tables) inheriting 16BITBASE (423 tables)
[16:48:29.519] A4SDA00Q (0 tables) inheriting A4SDA01Q (423 tables)
[16:48:29.549] can't open image file.

Try rerunning the latest Ecuflash installer and try again. It looks like an issue with your definitions file if I had to guess. Reinstalling will overwrite them. You might also want to download the latest ECUFlash.

Also make sure the shortcut you're using points to the directory where you installed. I always keep mine in the default directory to avoid confusion.
