 Post subject: Risk reading ?

I'd like to know if there is any risk to damage de ECU reading the rom to file. I'm aware of the risk of writting but what about only reading ?

no, there shouldn't be any risk reading only.

The only thing it may do (depends upon model, the 06 STI for example does not do a reset on a read or a write) will reset your ECU.
