It looks like a great chance to learn some tuning and will be in my budget where I felt the AP and Street Tuner was way more than I wanted to spend. I am wondering though if I can use this on an '06 WRX? Seems most people have the '05 and older. I wanted to start out with something simple like an after market exhaust and then maybe an intercooler and larger turbo as my budget and tuning skills allow. I was also wondering how to get started. Is there any known base maps that will get me started. I'm not looking to rip off COBB or any other protuners I'd just like something safe I can start with so I don't have to start from scratch. If I do have to start from scratch can someone point me in the direction of the stuff I have to learn so I can build my own base maps. Thanks from a soon to be (hopefully) noob tuner.

Welcome! We just recently found out how the drive by wire ECUs work and I need to make some updates to the code to support them, and then we can start getting definitions made for the different revisions.

Base maps are kind of a tricky situation right now but before too long we should be able to get some ready to go.

Cool. I can't wait to start working with this. I think it's great that you provide this for people that are on a budget yet want to be able to tune their cars. I'm gonna order a cable and start data logging just to get used to that so I'll be ready when the stuff for the '06 comes along. In the meantime I guess I have a lot of reading to do.
