Wanna post some logs from the rom? I'd like to see what you're getting out of that VF39. :D

Try pulling ~2.1* from the timing map at mid-high boost area go from there.

Airboy,

Thanks for sharing this.

I'm preparing to install a VF34 and TBE (no cat) on my 07 WRX, and planning to use your map as a base map. What is your take on the changes induced by the STI intercooler and the SPT intake? Logging will be essential to make this map work for me, but I'm curious on what your previous experience has shown you regarding these mods.

Thanks,
Alex.

You really should upgrade your TMIC to go with the VF34. I did the turbo/TMIC change at the same time so I don't have info on what is needed to make it work with the stock TMIC. It was necessary to rescale the MAF to accommodate the SPT intake. Some stock intakes need to be scaled a bit as well.

Airboy,
If I want to use this as my base map when I install a VF39, STi TMIC and GMbcs on my 06 WRX, yet I have already spent considerable time scaling my MAF can I copy my existing MAF table over to this map and then pull 2.1 timing in the high boost areas to make it work for me? (91 oct here).
Obviously this will be a base map but I would really like to forgo the MAF scaling again if at all possible.

Here will be the mod list:

VF39
STi top mount
APS 65mm CAI
APS 3" catless TBE
gmbcs

Copy over your MAF table and maybe lower timing by 3.2* to start. Your TBE is catless so you should lowering the WGDC limits a bit as well (5% perhaps)

Thanks Airboy, I will try that out as soon as I get these things installed.
I just finished a complete STi 6MT swap (axles, Brembos, R180 and 6MT, with coil overs and every single group-n bushing made) this weekend so now I am ready to start in on the VF39 and top mount.
