So. i don't know if any of the rest of you have been having this prob but, i have been getting an error about java not working right. then with the new release all i got was " this installation requires java 1.5.0". i had uninstalled and reinstalled just about every version of java know to man. then it hit me! Vista 64-bit has two (program files) folders. why? i dont know. more microsoft genius i guess. so to make a long story short. if you getting errors about no java on a 64 bit machine make sure your install path is in c:\program files\. Not C:\program files (x86). hope this helps someone!!
