I'm building EJ20 2.2 stroker and am interested if anyone has used the above rods and had any feedback or bad experiences?
They appear to be great value for money.
My power goals are 550 bhp with some track use.
Thanks

I'm using eagle rods on my Sti. No issues so far. I am pushing around 400 whp.

I haven't used them in a Subaru application, but have an Eagle stroker kit in my Mustang. I think they make great products.

Eagle is very well known and respected. There are a number of high-end domestic companies making damn fine products that don't get enough attention because of ignorant new-age car enthusiasts and yesteryear stereotypes. Carillo, Calico, Eagle, ARP and Wiseco are just a few of the many...

Thanks - that's interesting as I've seen a snobbery against them on other forums but no-one seems to be able to articulate what the 'problem' is. As you say I think other brands may be threatened by the price aspect.

I did a closed deck JDM 2.0 build a little while ago. Using EJ207 balanced crank, eagle rods, CP pistons. The motor performs well up to about 9400 rpm, and its been over 10k a bunch of times already, no problems. If the rods were weak they would have come apart by now.....
