Using my AP 2 Cable for logs?

Hey I have been trying to log my 06 STI using my Cobb AP 2 cable but when I launch the logger it doesnt work with the cable I only see comm3 no other comms, and also when it saw the new hardware and tried to download the drivers for the Cobb Cable it wouldnt let me do it. It told me to insert the cobb cd for the drivers and I did but it could not find the drivers for the cobb cable. I am running windows vista also. Does anybody know who to get my cobb cable to work thanks.

Cobb doesn't supply a Windows device driver for its AP 2 cable. You're SOL trying to use it with RomRaider.

You might consider buying a cable like this one on eBay. I would use the latest VCP driver from http://www.ftdichip.com, instead of the supplied driver.

You can use your accessport cable with ecuexplorer though.

sell AP, get tactrix 2.0 when it comes out

(or 1.3 if you dont wanna wait).

get retuned or diy,

or if you know someone with AP v1, you can borrow their cable, or as above get that e-bay unit. all work just fine
