Newbie alert, canr\t download the software to datalog my car. windows vista here if it matters. any suggestions please and thanks

You can't download it from the site? Or you can't install it? For vista, to install, you need to right click installer and install as admin (this is in the RomRaider FAQ which I suggest you read). If it was a download issue, make sure you have your browser set up to accept cookies and that you are logged in.
