 Post subject: selectable comms port in settings

It'd be nice if we could specify the actual device path of the comms port in settings. For example i'm using /dev/ttyusb0. I believe you can run the logger with something along the lines of passing it this argument "-Dgnu.io.rxtx.SerialPorts=/dev/ttyUSB0" but why not make this an option we can configure within the settings and/or have it read from the conf files? The way serial ports seem to be handled now under Linux leaves a lot of confusion for first time users.
