Last week I was using the latest ECU Def's and a slightly earlier logger Def (don't ask why).
When loading the maps I noticed that the ECU Def had changed the Load Scale i.e reduced by 1/2

Not a problem, but when running the overlay log the ghost did not transition accross the graph with load.
Only ran up/down the rpm scale.

Luckily I had the old ECU defs on the laptop, so re-loaded and all was fine.

I now have the latest logger defs, will this problem now be resolved ?

if you are using log overlay, you have to have the same ECU defs and logger defs. That is, they are released as a pair, so if you are using the latest ECU defs, you would have to use the latest logger defs otherwise certain elements of log overlay will not work. This has nothing to do with the load conversion changing to g/rev (from 2*g/rev) in newer ecu defs. It would impact any extended parameter log overlay potentially (load happens to be one of them). There's no reason to be running older logger defs or ecu defs whatsoever.

cheers,
thought that was the case..updated my lappy with the ecu defs but not the logger as wasn't aware at the time they work as a pair. Also I don't like to change things unless I have to. If it ain't broke don't fix it.....
Have now got it sorted.

You should always run the latest ECU and logger defs regardless as they can have important bug fixes.
