wow, so sad. Didn't know the guy personally, but knew him from the forums and he was a stand up guy. RIP.

Wow, sad stuff! While we all like all the "go-fast" bits, it's another reminder to be safe out there.

he "secretly" called me a jerk last summer in an AVCS thread, but i got over it. (it may be hard to believe but i might have been flaming him a bit.) i'm pretty sure he got over it too. he was never full of s***, which is always a big plus in my book. pretty shocking to be here one day and gone the next, but that's the way life is. people need to slow the f*** down. getting killed instantly on impact is pretty tough to do at low speeds. unfortunately it is awfully hard to preach sentiments like that to fellow tuners. i know i had to become a daddy for it to sink in. ken

This thread really surprised me. I didn't expect something like this at all. It's hard to believe that Sean is just ... gone.
He was always very helpful in the Subaru community. A stand up guy.

Wow... I never met him, but I was really looking forward to meeting him soon. He definitely stood out on the forums as a smart, knowledgeable, and level-headed guy.

It's weird how some things said on automotive forums can leave an impact on so many people who didn't even know him... I sent him a PM on NASIOC not too long ago about N/A Impreza tuning and he was so kind just to answer a noob like myself. I'm sure he will be missed. Just pure sadness

Sean was super helpful in getting me going on tuning and answering my questions. I really don't know how far I would be without his open sharing on tuning and his willingness to answer questions via AIM at pretty much any hour.

I think I will be spending more time on the Dyno tuning and less on the street. Josh
