I have a handheld scanner which I guess is kind of a cheap unit. It doesnt pick up ANY codes. The one at the dealership picked up those codes though. The CEL is still coming on immediately.

Is there a certain type of obdII scanner I shold be looking for? A ceratin brand maybe. I'll pick one up today.

The CEL being on with no codes is most likely due to the misfire codes. There will be fix to overcome this in the next ecu def update for the 16-bit ECU. Once you apply the fix, then you shouldn't have the CEL anymore. The fact that the dealership picked up the fuel pump code (partially) is probably due to them using the SSM code reader. You do not need a new scanner.

It shouldn't when disabled through romraider. Misfires will, though.
