hey guys i'm completely new to opensource tuning, but have a hooked up with what i beleive is a great tuner (not sure of his name on here). anyway we did some datalogging the other day and he was kind enough to try to explain some of the things and what they meant, but like i said i'm completely new to all this and was picking up some of it but some was like jibberish. i was just wondering if there's somewhere i could find out more info, such as what all the different sensors are reading and what they mean i.e IAM, Feedback knock etc. etc. and i would have done a forum search but couldn't find one. any help is a ppreciated.

The extended parameters like 'feedback knock correction' are described in the logger definition update thread (see downloads). You'll need to download and install this anyway to access these parameters. You can also check out the stickies in general discussion forum about knock control, closed/open loop fueling, and turbo dynamics. They are more intermediate topics but you may learn something there. There's also the tuning FAQ, although that is still a work in progress.
