As title says, a local subie owner emailed me this question. He had some CEL the night before and it was gone the next morning.

He should still check it with an OBDII scanner. On my LGT, the light will go off but the value will still be stored until it is erased.

The trouble code and freeze frame data will be kept for at least 40 drive cycles.

Thanks. I have a handheld ODB-II scanner so I'll see what it reads back.

The codes came back as P2006, P2007, and P2009. P2006 and P2007 is supposed to be TGV valve stuck closed.

Is this an indication that something in the TGV system is on its way out?
