My Engine Load * (g/sec) is stuck at 2.93, didn't move at all during the whole time I was logging. Feedback Knock Correction varied from about -45 to -42, not the range I was expecting. IAM was stuck at 0 too. I've attached a 3rd gear pull. before I started, I had the correct logger defs loaded, but forgot about the ECU defs and loaded them and restarted RomRaider. What am I doing wrong?

The definitions might be wrong for your ecu. Look in the lower right hand corner of the logger when you are connected and post up the ecu id that is shown there and I can check them.

Are you running a factory map? If not, who tuned it? Is it a commercial map (Cobb/Ecutek) or has it ever had a commercial flash before?

Thanks for the reply, my brother and I were really confused.

My ECU ID is 3614486105, I'm running Cobb Stage 2 basic tune off the AP

Not sure if it matters but my mods are Turbo XS TBE (4 in DP, 3 in to a 2.5 end)

And that's all

Just checked load, IAM, and feedback knock correction definitions and they are correct for this ecu. This possibly means that Cobb changes the ecu id to reflect a different rom than the one they are using. Have you pulled the Cobb rom with Ecuflash and a tactrix cable? If so, you can PM it to me (we don't allow commercial roms to be posted on the site) and I can check and see if this is the case. Someone else had a similar problem and they were also running a Cobb map, although they never sent me the rom, so I couldn't verify anything.

That was my little brother's car. He didn't have the jumper so we couldn't pull the ROM. It might be a little while before we can get back together and do that. Would the rest of the values be valid?

Anything that wasn't an extended parameter (extended params have an * at the end of the name) would read properly. Interestingly, the ecu id you posted is for an 03 wrx MT. This doesn't make sense on an 02 as it would throw a CEL (for an additional sensor added in 03). They could have disabled the CEL, of course, but if they wanted to use one rom for both years it would have made more sense to use 02 for the 02/03. Which makes me think that they changed the ecu id to reflect a different rom revision than they are actually using.

Before I got involved with RomRaider as a developer, I had an AP (ver 1) and they used an 02 map (A4SGD10C) and did not modify the ecu id. Is your brother using an AP ver 2?

It's a V1. That's weird. His room mate (an evo-boy) might be getting a tactrix soon so he may be able to pull his ROM. I know he could tell you which map he flashed from the Cobb site, would that help at all?

No, I think Cobb uses one rom for both the 02-03s or at least they used to when I used to have an AP. If you can pull the rom with Ecuflash/tactrix cable and send it to me, I could give you an answer for sure.

I came across a thread on Nasioc that said the AP map manager software gives the user the ability to change the ecu id. This is most likely what has happened in this case. You'll need to change the ecu id back to the default which represents the correct rom revision and then flash your base map and this should solve the problem.
