I am having problems reading my ECU image both with ECUFLASH and ECU EXPLORER
My ECU is AH581-5122 JDM STi TWINSCROLL
Here are screen shots of what i get.
Any ideas?
BTW I can log successfully with ECUEXPLORER

make sure that before you connect the green connector cables that,
1) Ignition is off,
2) Tactrix cable is connected to laptop,
3) ecuExplorer is alread running and that there's no error,
4) click on tools menu and select read ecu and you're at the dialog box where it's telling you to connect the green connectors, and turn the ignition to ON position.

I got the "preamble - no response" before too. They key to getting it to work is to leave the ignition off until the box in the Tari logger comes up that tells you to turn it to on. Then turn it on and then click OK. You can have the green diagnostic connectors already connected, though, as that doesn't seem to matter. I read that some cars also need the flash block connected, even when only reading the ROM (mine didn't - 02 WRX).

Try reading WITHOUT the white connector jumped. Only have the green connector attached. I had this happen on a MY03 this weekend. We only needed to jump the WHITE connector when flashing.

Thats weird, jumping the white connector only provides the 12v needed for flashing. Having it connected when reading, shouldn't be a problem (Mines been jumped forever now).

Problems solved.
I had to jump the white connector to get it to work.
I tried again without jumping and it did not work and then tried again with white connector jumped and it did work..
So it seems that white connector has to be jumped for my car
Thanks
