 Post subject: defs. not found????

i have been trying to pull up a map onto RomRaider but i keep getting a "cant find def." window. its a stg.2 map i got and i had it up looking it at but clicked out.some how i lost the original def. downloaded off of here and when i redownloaded them i cant pull up anyting on RomRaider!!! plzz help!!!

it keeps saying "file specified not found" talking about the defs.
its showing the name/path of the one that was erased.

You have to use the supplied definition file that came with it when you bought the map. You can also download it on the xpttuning site. Read the faq there about xpt maps.

k thanks.ill try that. it is not a xpt tuning map that i bought but a "free"one from the forum. i was ale to view it for a while but the RomRaider defs got deleted by accadent and i downloaded them again and now i cant view it.

in that case, just download and install the latest ecu definitions (see downloads on this site).

ok well now i got to where it goes to load the map but then a small pop-up comes up saying ecu def not found.

i downloaded the new def. and have it saved on the ecu def manager. is there something im missing???

I don't know what you are doing as that rom is fully supported. Make sure you don't have multiple installs of RomRaider and you are updating the wrong directory.

ok i think i know what it is.i think its b/c the def arent unzipped.i cant find were or how to unzip it. i have vista btw.

You should be able to right click and select "Extract All" or whatever Vista calls it.
