I have major issues with my RomRaider logger.. Especially when I launch the logger it totally freezes for about 20 minutes, then it slowly starts to work.. And sometimes it just freezes in the middel of a log too.. Sometimes it helps closing the laptop and then open it again after about 5 minutes. What causes the problem? Any ideas? Ecuflash and RomRaider work just fine though.. I have tried to download the latest version of RomRaider, but it doesn't help...

Be sure your cable is not under any stress or can hop around. I don't believe it is a program bug, because I've had this happen with both Ecuedit and Ecuexplorer as well.

However, perhaps the logger could check for problems and attempt to reestablish a connection (re-init) if connection is found to be lost for a certain amount of time.

I am having very same issue. Trying to find the solution here. Still dont' know the problem is.

Most likely that COM Port setting and FTDI driver is messed up or something...

This computer communication thing is too complicate for me.

I wish I was able to concentrate on tuning without having to fight with non tuning related problems. Dealing with both on the street is very dangerous.
