I have a 04 WRX. When I go to the logger, I get the unable to connent message. I've uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times, I've tried all 4 USB ports, I've tried restarting my computer with it plugged in and the car running, I've tried restarting my computer with it unplugged, nothing works. All it lists under com ports is com3, so I can't even try another port.

Though COM3 is listed in the available ports pull down, you might try selecting the port still. I've had similar issues in the past. I must always select the port I want to use, even if there is only one port listed.

It is selected, the only other think I can think of that it would be is that I'm using an APv2 cord, but I thought I read in another forum that someone was using it with that cord.

An AP V2 cable will not work with anything other than the AP.

The V1 cord works though, right? I'm not using it for anything other than logging.
