make sure the ignition is on. Try another com port (selectable in the logger).

thanks for the speedy reply :D

ill try selecting different ports: when i was trying to connect before, only COM3 showed in the drop-down.

i had old versions of RomRaider and ecuflash so i unistalled them and all my old drivers and downloaded all the newest versions of software and drivers. im hoping that will help

ill let you keep ya posted

i tried selecting a different port this morning but still only have 1 option for ports in the dropdown menu. COM3 Should i try to plug the usb into a different port on my laptop?

i was able to connect to my ecu earlier using ecuflash and the open port1.3 tx560 driver.

I was using ecuexplorer to log with but it doesnt support Openport 1.3 hardware. When i found out eniginuity had a logger i thought i give it a try because i like RomRaider

I would uninstall Ecuflash and all drivers (should be 5 of them) from add/remove programs. Reboot and then install Ecuflash 1.30. Plug your tactrix cable in - if windows asks to search for drivers, select search automatically.
