Anyone encounter boost limit tables does not limit boost? I had tried setting both table table to 15psi but I'm still able to boost over 20psi :?
There's not CEL throw either. I datalog using ecuexplorer.
1. boost limit (fuel cut)
2. boost limit (cel)

Advised needed. BTW, I'm using A4TE300D, I'm not using any aftermarket boost controller but as GMBCS.

I'm pretty certain there's a certain amount of time you need to be over the boost limit until anything is triggered -- I'm thinking like 3 seconds. Are you overboosting longer than that?

Both limits have a delay, so the overboost has to be sustained over a certain period of time. iirc, the fuel cut has a higher delay threshold.

What does your WGDC table look like? With the GM BCS, you need 30-40% less DC than stock to hit your boost targets. You need probably only need 50-55% DC for 15 psi and if you have 70-80%, you will easily hit 20 before the ECU starts to reduce WGDC.

I run 60-65% for a boost target of 20 psi with the GM BCS.

It does not goes over 3 seconds, about 1~2 seconds. Maybe I set it lower like 7psi and let again.

I run 60 down to 50 wgdc.
