Here's yet another release candidate containing:

* NAW_7S wideband integration (contributed by dschultz!)
* Serial connections handling improvements which should hopefully fix the Innovate low reading problem

Testers are need for both of the above!

Download: Windows Installer | Windows ZIP

Tested this morning. The random instances of 6.4 and 7.35 seem to be gone. :) So far it appears to be working well.

That's great to hear, thanks for testing it.

Does it still say RomRaider v0.5.3 beta RC4 at the top? Is that correct or did my install not work?

I get to the screen that lets me uncheck the 'source files' pack, then I click Next, then I get this:

Image

Clicking Previous works as expected, but clicking Next doesn't do anything.
This happens whether or not I run the installer as Administrator.
After hitting this as Administrator, Windows helpfully informed me that it might not have installed correctly, and asked if I wanted to try again with 'recommended settings.' I clicked 'yes' but the same thing just happened again.
I'm running Win7 Ultimate, 64 bit. I did not have this problem on my 32-bit WinXP machine.
This is with the RC5 installer, and I had the same issue with RC4.
I haven't tried any other versions since upgrading to Win7.

Any ideas?

I see the same thing on the same OS. I thought it might be the Program Files directory's special permissions, but see the same lack of results in a non-special directory. It's not even creating the directory. I'm suspecting that it's a 64-bit issue with IzPack (the installer software), and I have the latest version checked in.

Ideas? Use the zip version. It's annoying that the installer isn't working properly, but that's part of the reason kascade posts the zip. I'll see if there are any clues in the IzPack bugs database.

I am using Windows 7 64bit Home and installed the RC5 release without any issues. The logger works great (even autoconnects to my LC-1 now) and captures log files without any problems.

When trying to use the LM2 MTS plugin, how do you know which port/channel to select. Mine has the option of 0/1/2. Everything is working fine for me via serial, but Ive had no luck with USB.

Logworks works fine.

Thanks!

Oddly I have the same issue with the current public release. The RC5 is the only one that actually installed properly.

The zip approach worked, thanks for the suggestion.

If I remember correctly, these are the data channels available to the LM-2, such as O2 #1, OBD-II, serial-in, etc. From my testing, I think O2 readings are available from port 0 (these are internal LM-2 ports or channels).

Try port 0.

Has anyone ran into this issue? I can't seem to save the configuration in RR or the logger. I would have to setup the definitions every time they start them up. Not really a problem but it does get kinda annoying.

Run it once as administrator, and choose the file locations. You should be able to run it normally after that.

I've had a few instances starting the executable version of RC5 and get an error from launch4j. I acknowledge the error and the next launch is fine. Is there a launch4j log that you know of that I can forward?
