I am looking into adding support for Innovate devices using the MTS protocol through the J2534 support in the OpenPort 2.0 cable. I don't have my LC-1 in the car yet due to a lack of funds. Using the stock downpipe currently. Going to write it untested and then try to figure out how to get some testing done.

I've been hoping to add an SSI-4 to my setup (already using an LC-1 and XD-16) as I'd like to add some more logable sensors to the mix. At this point, EcuEdit can do it, but it'd be neat to get it done via OP 2.0 daisy-chaining or logging the MTS chain in RomRaider logger

That's probably not a big deal and the benefit is that you don't have to deal with the MTS serial protocol directly. Could you PM me the code as well? I have a LM-2 coming in tomorrow and would like to take a crack at it.

Is there any other news for this? I have an LM-2 that I would love to be able to log with.
Thanks.

I still plan to add support for this. Time has been in limited supply for me for a few months but hopefully by the end of September I will be able to spend a little time on it.

Hi: I have only ever dabbled in scripting Perl & VBscript etc. so I have no hard core programming experience, but I ran across this: http://libusb-win32.sourceforge.net/ would it help RR support the LM-2? or this: http://www.steelbrothers.ch/jusb/index.htmlAttachment: JavaUSBComplete.zip

You don't need that as the latest SDK from Innovate Motorsports allows you to access the LM-2. Then again, I guess cross-platform (OS) compatibility might be a concern.

Is there any news on the upcoming possible maybe support for the LM2 in RR?
Just I purchased one a few months back then realised it wasnt supported ! doh! I would really like to proceed with some mapping and its holding me back for now.
An ETA or just a hint of progress would be nice.
Thanks in advance guys.
Charles.

So far looks promising but I'm falling asleep here so will continue tomorrow. I'll need to look at how plugins are created in RomRaider... Not really sure if it's a good idea to use the Innovate DLL - that thing has compatibility problems with 64-bit windows I believe. Just parse out the serial output manually (with the optional serial cables cables), I'm pretty sure it uses ISP2 (Innovate Serial Protocol 2). It might even be the same as the LC1 (be a good idea to send an e-mail to Felipe@Innovate-tech.com). Parsing out ISP2 is not hard - you guys already do it I believe (as RR supports the LC-1). Nevertheless, sample code.. http://code.google.com/p/wideband/source/browse/trunk/WidebandSupport/LC1.cs

I believe the problem isn't parsing Innovate's protocol, it's the fact that the LM-2 does not show up as a COM port, so there is no way to open a connection to it. Nice code though. For what it is worth, I haven't had any issues with LogWorks 3.0 SDK on Vista 64. I'm now running Win7 64 RTM but haven't had a chance to try it out. Using the LogWorks SDK will limit LM-2 support to Windows obviously. I'm not sure how one would get around the COM port issue; is there a usblib for Java? funks wrote: Fiend wrote: I just did a test with my LM-2 using the new SDK and was able to get a reading in a sample Java application.
