Requirements: - stock intake(drop in filter is ok) - Turboback exhaust - catless uppipe - 93 octane ONLY - 2 complete turns in on the wastegate actuator to hit target(18.25psi, although power graph below is at 16.25psi)
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Note: Map was tuned near sea level.
EDIT: Added 2004 WRX map based on 2005 WRX map 09/29/2009

File comment: LM-1 WBO2 is taken at the tailpipe, logged WRX has midpipe cat. Car only needed 16.25psi to make the power/torque in the attached graph.

I have all the required mods, save for 93oct. I live in CO and we can only get 91oct here. Could I splash in some SUNOCO or E85 to make each full tank 93oct and run this map?
Is it safe to run 18psi on the stock turbo? I'm not at sea level either. 5600ft.

I just flashed this map today....I did turn turns on the wastegate, but still cant reach target boost. I just purchased a boost controller and waiting for it to come it...the map seemed to work well for me. I had my friend who is an advanced tuner who took logs for me without any knock or much timing correction and said that map looked well. I could feel some good gains specially through first and second gear....gunna up the boost to about 18 and see where that puts me.

I am looking to move over to it from a Cobb OTS Stage 2 map, so I'm hoping the gains/smoothness are noticeable.

Is it safe to run 18psi on the stock turbo? I'm not at sea level either. 5600ft. I would not recommend running this map in its current form on anything less than 93 octane. At 5600ft with 93octane would recommend lots & lots of logging.

There are a lot of us here in Colorado who would really appreciate it

There are a lot of us here in Colorado who would really appreciate it I would need to do some email log swapping with someone with several map revisions before 'posting' a tested version.

Would this be safe to run on an 04 WRX? I thought the 04/05 ECU was very similar... I just don't see any 2004 maps on here. Trying to help get my friend a base map to start.

I have not tried to run a 05 map on an 04 WRX, so I cannot say. I just added a 2004 WRX map in the #1 post maps copied over from my 2005 WRX map.
