I'm sorry I just don't get what the big deal is about being wrong. I have watched more than a few threads go off the deep end on that site. First if we were never wrong we would never learn and we would never get better. I got my first WRX the first month they came out and trust me there is a lot of stuff that we have learned together as a group since then. Second I really rarely post anything because think most of the posts are like some dumb elementary school kids yelling at each other ("no I'm right, no your stupid I'm right"). I mean come one am I the only one that thinks it's stupid. The only way we get better is from people posting ideas and others adding there input and criticism respectfully. I've been in the automotive field for over 10 years and have worked on cars my hole life and I learn new things all the time. To say that I am the know all be all in my field would just make me look stupid.

Its just that Nasioc has gone down hill Jamie (there really are some bad mods). You have seen it. I couldn't contact Nick about being banned about crap in the Texas forum. Hell, my wife even contacted you about the sexism in the Texas forum. You know I have been on that site almost as long as you. I bought my WRX the first month they came out too. I rebuilt my first car engine 16 years ago, so yes, I am a hardcore enthusiast and that is what NASIOC is supposed to be about. Anyway, it seems a moot point now. I have a new username there and so far I have not been banned. I am just leaving the retards in the Texas forum alone.

Hehe, they let me back in the Texas forum. I just post under the local meet stuff. I leave the other posts alone. But yeah, I'll post over in NESIC.

Holy crap, are all the admins on NABISCO so full of them self’s these days Who died and made them gods. U know that board is getting really bad now. But what gets me about Uni***, (and i just read 5 more of his posts) is that he is wrong half the time he post any technical information... and then bans the other person... oh well...

At least he's funny though. "Your AFRs on your AP2 are as accurate as calling my mom, so quit looking at that feature." Mind you, that was to a guy talking about failing his emissions tests. I inquired as to whether they did emission testing in open-loop out there. He didn't post again in that thread, so I can only assume that Unabomber's emission tests generally involve AWD dynos and WOT runs. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... p=22854694

Well I am banned again. f*** Nasioc. Never again. I didn't even do anything. All my posts were deleted, videos of meets, etc. I guess giving them a second chance was not the right thing to do.

Actually I have been in touch with the mods. There is a very good chance that my original screenname will be restored tomorrow (one more mod has to agree though).

I've no idea what I did to merit a ban. I don't think I had any outstanding points and I'm not aware of any NASIOC rule, outside of no trolling, which permits a ban after a single infraction. I registered there nearly 8 years ago and have changed ISPs several times since then, so my registered email address will bounce any mail sent to it. I sent an email to Nick@nasioc.com, asking him why I was banned and to reinstate me if the reason didn't conform to the rules. I got no response.

It says your "visiting Nasioc timeout" under your user name, so I guess you are not permanently banned unless they put you forever in limbo.

Blows my mind what people over there do and don't get banned for. I had some douchebag following me and my friends around for months trolling any thread they started for nothing, slamming the OP every time. Like 12+ incidents. I know he got reported, he complained in another attack we whine to mods too much. Far as I know he never got a point, maybe it's who you know?

But the rules say: Quote: At anytime if you reach 25, or more, warning points your account will be placed in a ban status, and you will be unable to view the forums. In this case you will have to speak with a moderator or administration to see if you will be allowed back into the forums again. But I don't think you can't use NASIOC PM when you're in Time Out. Catch 22. As a side note which may, or may not be, related, I received this nastigram via certified mail from SOA this week.
